I've read reviews like this before and thought "no way that happened" but now I've experienced it. My originally assigned room had a pile of sheets sitting on a chair next to a stripped bed. I was then moved to a room that was not the bed or room type I had booked (two full sized beds and a basic room when I had booked a king executive). The room smelled terribly of smoke, and the smoke detector was hanging down from the ceiling and wrapped in a plastic bag. How did housekeeping not note this and have it taken care of? It was after 2 am at this point so we decided not to go back down to the lobby and roll the dice for a third room. Furthermore, the general state of both rooms was poor. Lots of stains and scuffs on carpet, walls, and furniture. The second room's bathroom faucet had dried tooth paste spit on it. I was told by the staff member who checked me out (who was very friendly) that there was nothing she could do to compensate me for the trouble, but that a manager would reach out. A week later I hadn't heard anything from the manager, so finally filled out the corporate Radison feedback form I was emailed. I waited another week after filling that out, hoping someone might be in contact with me. But no one has reached out yet.

Positive: Exceptional staff Negative: The hotel lists a variety of amenities and services, however, there are ZERO amenities and services due to "COVID". The rooms are extremely disgusting. Lastly, the entire hotel outside the rooms are extremely warm to hot during the day as there's no a/c.

Two stars for the location (downtown & convenient to walk to restaurants & the Convention Center); and because my inquiry to check-in before 3pm was granted. This hotel is shabby & needs some serious upgrades. The shower nozzle fell off & it dripped non-stop. The a/c on the wall thermostat does not work. The wall unit is set at 75F & couldn’t be adjusted. I had to move the nightstand to reach a plug in for my cell phone. As of this writing (June 2022) there is no free shuttle to the airport (despite what the website indicates). I paid extra for a room with free breakfast but there are no open restaurants in the hotel "because of Covid". If you want any food or drink, you’ll need to procure it yourself. The rooms have no mini fridges or microwaves. My bed was clean & fairly comfortable. The tv is the older "flat screen" & small. The furniture has stains as does the walls. The hallways are dark & feels creepy. The website needs to be updated to reflect the food situation & no shuttle.

TRAVELING ALONE and FEMALE? DO NOT STAY HERE! I’ve never felt unsafe at a hotel before but I was unequivocally UNSAFE here as the private, underground parking garage of this hotel is a crime scene waiting to happen. 1. I had a very scary encounter in the parking garage with a homeless man when putting my luggage in my car around 7am today. I was the only hotel guest in the garage. The moment he saw me, he beelined it over to me and was within arms’ length of my body. He told me not to be scared but in a quiet garage, in the early morning, there was no need to be so close to my body and the reality of the situation is he stood between me and the exit ramp up to the street and me and the elevator. While my 15 year old son waited for me upstairs. There are nets in blind corners of the garage, blocking off the homeless from sleeping/hiding/living and I was careful to park directly in front of the elevator upon check in since there was a man in a corner of the garage the night we checked in. No big deal, he was minding his own business. BUT you can’t even step off/into the elevator without stepping into an entire garbage can full of trash, pulled onto the ground, directly in front of the doors. 2. Someone tried to pry my car window open during my 2 night stay. Either with a crowbar or a screw driver. In this same garage! I’m just grateful they didn’t bust out my window because it would have been a long 3 hour drive home. They damaged the frame of my car and I’m sure it’ll be a pretty penny to fix. 3. I’m grateful that the parking garage elevator always stops at the 1st floor lobby before going any higher. 4. I’m tired of being grateful the above experiences weren’t worse. Pros: The 3 front desk staff I dealt with were really nice & accommodating. The beds were comfortable. The pillows and comforter, especially. The water from the sink wasn’t brown. (as I saw stated in another review.) Cons: The hotel looks nothing like the online photos. The rooms are terribly run down. 3.5 stars on Google? That is impossible. Balcony doors are bolted shut. Road noise (think Sirens) and hallway noise is high. You may be hurt or robbed in the parking garage. Just fyi.
