No the park prefers you to use the main entrance on Rt 73. The exit is on Rt 52 for traffic flow reasons.

Bathrooms are actually pretty clean. No changing table or anything but a way upgraded version of a porta potty. My wife's picky about that and she was fine with it

I would advise bringing cash just in case. You will definitely need it for parking ($3), and some vendors offer better prices if you pay with cash. There is an ATM right inside the gates, though!

People generally gather at the gates before they open. Buy your tickets ahead of time or online for better pricing. Many people dress up. You don't have to. They have maps on site and are good at passing them around. Definitely hit up the jousting and at least a couple shows. Lots of shopping to be had, but I would suggest making the rounds of all the shops and getting a sense of pricing before stopping into any particular place. You're going to have tons of fun! Enjoy!

I don't know what Fancy Feast means but it's like any other fair this lots of vendors with food.

Flushable bathrooms. Very nice. They are outside with a wash hand area. The restrooms are crazy nice.

Also Time Travelers weekend the cost for tickets at the gate will be $15.72. That weekend is Sept 7-8, 2019. The weekend of Sept 28-29, 2 adult tickets are $30 and kids tickets are 2 for $10. The last weekend of faire, October 26-27, kids 12 and under get in free for Tricks and Treats weekend.

I generally stay in springboro for chain hotels. There's a Hampton Inn that's about 25-30 mins from the festival grounds. There are some B&B's closer though. Haven't tried them.

Like you said, weapons hav to be zip tied for safe reasons, but i think some guy got yelled at last year because even though his spear was blunt, he was being a drunk and swinging it around and hit some kid in the face.
