Honestly one of the better DMV experiences I've had. These folks were fast, efficient, and helpful. Even though I had printed the wrong form they helped me sort that out quickly.

With no appointment and arriving 30 minutes after opening on a Wednesday, I waited 30 minutes to renew my driver's license. Renewing my license took 15 minutes. Overall it was a good experience. However if everyone needs to go through this process to get a RealID license, I don't know how that is going to be possible.

Went in on a Monday around noon. Took a number. 2 people were ahead of me. Explained my situation to the lady at the counter. She was very friendly and helpful. However, to get my permit I had to take the full driver's test. Studied for 25 minutes, passed the exam but still had to make an appointment for the practical test. All in all, it took me probably 45 minutes to get everything done and the service was super friendly and efficient. Quite surprising giveb the kind of people the employees have to deal with on a daily basis...

I know the DMV has a reputation for being terrible, but I was pleasantly surprised by an awesome experience! I moved here recently and had made an appointment to get my Oregon ID card. My girlfriend was the one who made the appointment actually, but she said it was easy to do online. My appointment was for 12:00 or so and hers was for 2:30. We got there a little late, at 12:15 or so. When we got there there were maybe 10-15 people sitting in chairs waiting to be seen. It was pretty spatious, not crowded. There was a separate area to sit for people who had made appointments. I sat there with my girlfriend, and basically right away someone called us up to be seen! The guy asked if we had an appointment. I sad mine was for 12:00 and I'm a little late. He said it's fine. I asked if my girlfriend could be seen too to get her drivers license even though her appointment is for later, and he said yeah. Awesome! From there things went pretty smoothly. We were out within 20 mins or so. The guy who helped us was very nice. He even anticipated an issue where I wrote down "Apt #616" for my address, but on the letter I handed him it said something like "STE 616". He said it should be fine but it's safer to redo it saying "STE 616" because the way they check it they look to see if stuff matches and it's possible that someone declines it for not being an exact match. I really appreciated that heads up. I think it showed that he was actually paying attention and trying to do a good job. When I went to get my picture taken, I was helped by a different person. The guy did his thing and got my picture taken. When I finished he spoke pretty quickly explaining something to me and handed me a piece of paper. I didn't really understand so I asked a question. He gave a brief answer. I asked a follow up question. He said it's all explained in more detail in that handout. Some people might be upset with that sort of "customer service", but y'know what, I was happy! This isn't a fancy restaurant where their job is to cater to you. He was trying to weigh my needs with the needs of everyone else waiting to be seen in a timely fashion, and I think he made the right judgement. Plus he was right, it was all explained on that handout.

Nope
Yes, as long as you fill the proper forms and or own the vehicle
Sadly not
They are actually open Tuesday through Saturday and closed on Sunday and Monday!
Nope, they are only accepting people with appointments
Go online and make a appoitment
You can buy almost anything without any id, including a car. I assume you are asking whether you can Register it and get license plates so its legal to drive. For that you would need proof of Oregon residence. I believe you can register car without applying for OR DL but i may be wrong. Address proof, insurance, signed title, passport with i94 and Brazil DL should be enough
I'm not sure, but this is the place that can help you with title transfers. It's best to arrive just before 11am thats when the lines seem the shortest.
No u must have a valid i.d. card in ur possession if ur driving.
You Have to call and make appointment.
Most of work is done online. You will have to make an appointment for VIN check.
Thanks for answer but I am in a motorhome because of several circumstances beyond me
Gather what info you might have that relates, try to apply online and make that appointment to dmv because they will help you. In some cases the site will let you know if you can do online yourself or not but make the appointment to get it rolling cause it might be a month or so to see them and you can always cancel.
Yes you do. They will unlock the door once you confirm your appointment when you arrive. You must have an appointment
not sure sorry 😐
Please check online or call DMV if test in your language is available for test? After you pass the test 2 weeks to get your license.
Yes you should be able to do it online, but I believe they send renewal by mail. Depends how automatic renewals you had? than you have to go to DMV office.
The office is 'open' but the doors are locked. To get in, you have to have an appointment. They check their list of appointments for that day at the door. Last week they closed several offices due to the fires and they weren't taking appointments online. I would check their website or call. I doubt they'll be taking walk-ins anytime soon. They've removed almost all the waiting chairs from the office. The good news is, today I was in and out less than 15 minutes
Tried going without an appointment just to find out you absolutely need an appointment. Make one now! Also, theyre being lenient about expired things until the 31st of December of this year.
I don't no
https://www.oregon.gov/ODOT/DMV/pages/index.aspx You can make your appointment there. The fee for a replacement ID card is $39.50, as of today.
Call the DMV
You must call to schedule an appointment.
I would contact DMV directly.
I think you need your registration renewal and you take that to deq unless you have an out of town address then you just go straight to dmv
Title and old registration card. And your licence..
No
Their processes are really convoluted, and everyone seems to have a different response. There's a info desk when you walk in, normally no line. They can direct you somewhat but ultimately the people at the counter will have the step by step for you
No sir but that would be great
Mine is expiring and I'm told 40$ in the mailer I recieved so I'm guessing should be around that
They're remodeling, they will open again until March 1.
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Thursday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Friday
https://www.oregon.gov/ODOT/DMV/Pages/DriverID/licenseget.aspx#Replace $26 replacement fee
$44.50 https://www.oregon.gov/ODOT/DMV/pages/driverid/idget.aspx
I would think yes. Take the written test then rent a car for the drive test maybe
I'm doing it.
Written test at dmv
Yes and bout 100 bucks
\It depends on the State , I got a DUII in North Idaho, it didn't effect my ability to get my licence here . I was free and clear already all i had to do was apply for my right,. and it has never shown up.
You go to the dmv and fill out the Lost/Replacement ID form!
I just mo
You can get a limit of 3
because we have no sales tax so the entire budget comes from inflated fees. Sorry.
I honestly don't know, but it shouldn't be a problem. You can probably just ask them for a new one.
There is a form at the door. You will also need something showing address, something showing identification like an ID and something showing citizenship like a social security card or passport.
Nope, it works for me...
