Fantastic! Support your local library!

It is an amazing place for the children to spend their hot afternoon which is becoming hotter now-a-days. Here children can immerse themselves in books irrespective of age and they have huge collection on all topics. Computers are installed at every 5 feet distance approximately for ease in locating the book selves. Lego play area at a corner for young kids helps mothers to be hands free. Even the library representatives are courteous to help if approached. My family is grateful to have an access for the public service they provide.

Fantastic place

Peaceful atmosphere, very conducive for research and study. Only drawback is because it is so popular and near the University, the popular books are difficult to keep on the shelves. The staff is super friendly and overwhelmingly helpful. It is also difficult to understand how an ebook can have a wait-list.

The chairs had all been taken away when I visited on 8/14/21.
Yes you can,as long as you are masked up.
Yes
If you speak to a librarian, they will help you access them.
Ok thanks... Do you know if its a charge to print from computers?
Yes
If you still live in the county it is free.
This information can be found on the library's website or by phoning them.
I'm fairly certain they have a printer.
I believe that the librarians will help you learn how to navigate the Internet and use their specific computers. As for setting up a go-fund-me page, I don't think they do. I know they don't sit and help you navigate/fill out a specific job application. I think their assistance is of a more general nature. It is a wonderful, well used library with great workers and volunteers! You may find a patron rhat would be willing to get you started.
There is a walking path from Franklin St up through Prichards park, beside Dunking Doughnuts, and up to the drive that leads to the front door of the library. You will pass the community bulletin boards at the corner of the building.
The lending period is three weeks for most books.
I'd call the library; they'll be able to help you
No, New Year's day is one of the few days CHPL is closed.
If you want to borrow materials and you are not a resident of Chapel Hill or Orange County, you will have to pay $65 for a card. But, anyone can use materials in the library free of charge.
