This school is a family. The instructors are dedicated to teaching jiu-jitsu as a complete martial art, not just a competitive sport. People of all ages and levels of athleticism are welcomed and supported.

I wanted my 7 year old to learn a martial arts in a safe and encouraging environment. Her and I went there three times before taking a class to observe how the classes were conducted. The teachers are situationally aware and react quickly and effectively if they sense I need to correct a behavior, ensuring a safe learning environment. I ended up taking classes there as well. The culture there is friendly and not overly and not overly competitive. I don't feel like I'm going to be hurt by any of my classmates. The culture is fun and supportive in learning. $140 I think, which is usual for a good quality gi. It comes with all the simurgh patches!
You do not have to get one through them but it needs to be white. The school gi's are good quality and it's good to support the school but you are welcome to get a white gi elsewhere.
They are rental gloves and wraps for kick boxing. You need to purchase gi if you want to do jujitsu. But for initial classes you can just come in regular workout clothes and purchase if you take to it!

It can vary depending on what your trying to do. It's a great facility with an amazing staff. I would stop by to check it out, maybe attend a class or 2 and they can give you the pricing. I love it there and am happy I found it!!
