I’ve been going here about 3 years and the care is getting slack and it’s beyond scary and the more I deal with cancer the more I realize the care is very slack no return phone calls or messages. Cancer care is very important an not to feel Prioritize is very disappointing and this field of medicine it’s no room for slack. Unc really dropping the ball when it comes to cancer care.

The hospital itself is fine however the downstairs bathrooms in the Cancer hospital are always NASTY!!!! This is a hospital so the bathroom should be sanitized & cleaned. Because there is sick people in there and now Covid is still present. Keep the bathrooms clean!!!

We had a really bad experience with UNC. We made a new appointment and clearly informed the staffs upon scheduling appointment that our existing 2020 insurance didn't cover UNC for any service. Then we booked an appointment in January 2021 and emphasized the insurance coverage multiple times. Unexpectedly, they pulled our medical records from Duke mychart by themselves, reviewed and billed in Dec. 2020, three weeks before our visit scheduled in 2021. They Totally ignored our previous communication...result in a big insurance unpaid bill for us to pick up. No matter how we explained and requested to review our previous conversation record, they insisted we had to pay the services which we never agreed with. Well, to be fair, the review is nothing to do with UNC doctors. Just for the operation, scheduling and billing departments. They successfully pushed us back to Duke and we enjoy the excellent service there...yes, in Duke.
