Very poor adoption service. - They are unresponsive. I followed up my several missed calls to them with several unanswered emails. - The website doesn’t have all of the animals in the center, listed on the website. - When I finally got a response via email, they told me my application to adopt one of the cats was denied due to me saying on the application that I would let the animal outside. At no point did they mention this, so it was a surprise to me hearing that. - They are over crowded with cats from what I saw, so this decision to deny me due to me willing to let the cat outside from time to time, is going to enable one more animal to never find a loving home and live their lives in a small crowded room. 2/10

Love them so much!! If you are looking for a dog or cat look no further than this amazing rescue. They save so many animals. Our sweet furbaby EmmaGrace came from there. Adopt don't shop!!

My first time trying to adopt, was referred by a good friend. I was ready to adopt after 2 years of loosing my first dog who was 16 years when she pass healthy and not neutered. I was denied because my previous dog was bot neutered and my current dog is on on heart worm prevention treatment even though I stated i was not against it. Dogs core vaccines are due every two years and heart worm is a season treatment, however for unstated requirements, previous pets need to be neutered and in heart worm prevention for you to qualify to adopt. My dogs never had any health issues, were current on vaccinations, but I still got a lecture on heart worm treatment. You are a shelter helping animals that need to find a home? Why make it difficult for people that are trying to help? I am heartbroken on this process and disappointed.

They drop off for the evenings if they are closed and yoi just have to sign a form if you are surrendering an animal.

Bmjv77 I'm confused.... I am not familiar with Cool Ranch or Nacho. The cat I am talking about is named Dorito, a cat we saw when we were there adopting Hulk.
We are but if they're strays, they'll have to go to a shelter by law. If the kitties are yours, put in an application online as a pet surrender.
