Lots of camping spaces, some are very close to the water. Some sites have shade, some are mostly open, which can be hard on hot sunny days.

Very awesome place! Shaded picnic tables, boat launch, camping, RV spots, and cool water to dip your toes in.

Again... Tooooo beautiful for words and MY photography skills leave a lot to be desired... I will be back tomorrow. Well... Technically later today

Our weekday visit was awesome. People came and went throughout the day, but the beach never got crowded. The park makes every effort to keep the beach clean and safe. Great place for kids in a sheltered cove.

Sleeping allowed on the boats unless you have a water site at Oak Bottom Campground
How do I book a campsite?
I think so
Hi Georgia, Dogs are allowed, on leash, except for the public swim beaches.
Trailers and rv must park by the boat ramps. No hook ups. Tents are on the otherside. No open flame
Fishing at the marina can be great at the right time of the year
Yes
Free if it is yours, just need park pass
The Oak Bottom area is now open. The Campground will be open beginning May 1st. Oak Bottom did experience effects of the Carr Fire but we are coming back strong.
The campground currently doesn't have an opening date. The hope is to have it opened by May 1st, but cannot guarantee it will be. Reservations can be made once a definite date for reopening the campgrounds is determined.
We currently don't have sailboats to rent. However, we would be able to rent you other types of vessels. Please call us for details 530-359-2008
You are not required to make reservation but we strongly recommend that you do. Especially in the summer months. We want to be sure and find the right spot for you. Good Question!
Yes unfortunately. It is in a National Recreation Area, so there is a fee. Any ranger can give you current prices for camping, day use, parking, etc. Or you can go into the store for info. It is a beautiful place, worth the cost. Checkout the trails and other areas while you're there.
Unfortunately, no Jet Ski's are not allowed on Whiskeytown Lake
8am at our Marina store
Yes, the water is on and there is potable water this year.
Sorry, while we do have tent sites we do not have electrical hookups in any of our campsites
What kind of hook ups you talking about? I know it doesn't have any internet service until your near the visitor center. It's off grid for everything else. Flushing toilets are a plus.
I'm not sure, but I believe so.
