Literally a holy grail. The staff is always nice and the selection is unmatched. I no longer live in Blacksburg but take trips to go to this market. Even if you’re from somewhere else, bring a cooler because you’re gonna find things you never knew you needed. Fresh produce, great meat selection (halal meats too), and tons of dry goods just not available at most stores. They also have a wonderful selection of alcohol and kitchen products too! Products are seasonal often, so going frequently means you’ll be able to find lots of new items they may not have prior, however you will sometimes not be able to find certain brands of items. That can be good if you’re still willing to try something new though!

Oasis is great, I love this market, it allows me to get lots of food I am really home sick for, they have a phenomenal variety of Asian ingredients and food as well as a great range of middle eastern and Slavic items.

I'm not certain if they do, but they have an impressive tea selection and seems like the kind of merchant that would special order an item for you if you request them to. Hoping this is somewhat helpful for you.
True. Oasis sells stuff from many countries in their original packs. Veggies and fruits likewise. Stuff u cant find in other stores. Indian atta like sujata wheat flour in 2 kg and 10 kg packs. Dals, parle biscuits, Lijjat papads etc. Must for Indian students.
It depends on what's in season. During the late spring & summer, it's a good place to get dragonfruit, lychee, etc.

It's very likely they already have what you want in stock, their selection of canned goods from foreign markets is amazing! Best to ask them at the store yourself though, they're very helpful and would probably be able to order some for you if they don't have any in stock.
No, I've never seen live lobster there, the do occasionally carry live blue crab. You should go in, it's a fabulous place.
