These are possibly the rudest, unhelpful, worthless, people I have ever met. I highly doubt any of these people can read. Two different employees looked at the title and told me it wasn’t filled out correctly. Thankfully they have one employee with an IQ over 30. The guy who works at desk 13 is genuinely a nice person and was able to help me out. They should fire everyone except for him and save a bunch of tax dollars. I wish I could give this place -5 stars

Worst dmv I have ever been to! Every time I go it’s an hour wait the last time I waited almost 4hrs for them to tell me they couldn’t help me.

Make an appointment to get a new title
Go in if you've moved bring proof of address and $5 and your old license its actually really easy
No they will not you have to go to DMV before 11 in the morning to take your test without having an appointment
The graduated driver's license program is designed for people 15 to 17. It allows you the opportunity to develop your driving skills. It restricts nighttime and unsupervised driving at first, but these restrictions are lifted over time. You will earn full driving privileges at 17, or after keeping your Conditional or Special Restricted license for one year, if you received no traffic offenses and were not at-fault in any collisions. You do not have to visit an SCDMV branch to receive full driving privileges. You will receive a sleeve in the mail from the SCDMV. You must keep your license in this sleeve to take advantage of your full driving privileges. For more information, read Ready for the Road? (SCDMV Brochure DMVB-35).
Just fill out the title as if it's being sold and just create a bill of sale nothing really needs to be done except fill that out like that and it would work as if she just purchased it from you or I believe there is a spot that says it's gifted
Yes, up and running.
No If you near the place But if you far from the place yes you do

Yes. Please utilize the website to make everything go smooth.
of course you can
You will need to apply for a replacement before you can tranfer ownership
Just notify the treasurer's office and they will handle it
First pay your car taxes then go to the dmv change your address and get your tags and sticker
Everything must be done by appointment right now. And as Juan said, the Real ID requirements are listed on their website. :)
A title transfer when I bought a used truck just ran me $115 or so.
I do believe Ms Connie has the best answer.
Go to your dealership or the the DMV itself
As of now I believe you have to talk to Wells Fargo or call the DMV in South Carolina.
Proof of Identity, US Citizenship, and Date of Birth Proof of a Social Security Number Two Proofs of Current, Physical SC Address Proof of Legal Name Change History (if applicable) If you've changed your name from your birth certificate to present day, you must bring in all supporting documents proving your legal name change. This includes a marriage license, divorce decree, or court order issued by your county's family court. You must bring in documents showing a complete name change history. If you have a US Passport or Passport Card with your legal name, you may use this in place of your name change document(s). The SCDMV will print the name on your passport on your license. Liability insurance information (not required for a beginner's permit or ID)
The DMV usually mail out registrations with-in 24 hours of receiving a payment. If you do not receive your copy with-in 72 hours. You can request a print off OR replacement copy from your local tax office or DMV.
Are you trying to get a SC drivers license?
There is no temporary placard. You must have a form filled out by your doctor to get one.
If it is a South Carolina license, you will need to make an appointment at scdmv.org and fill out the form. Im an not sure of the cost. Its something like $10.00
That i do not know.
I was able to do a walk-in to receive mine

Take title to DMV with insurance and for about 15.00 you can get a temporary tag and registration.
It should, if you request it and give them all of the information that they need. Make sure all of the info is correct and accurate, the DMV does not care and will not follow up. .
Each state has different statutes, but mostly past 20 years old to be considered to be a classic.
They have pictures in the DMV of the chain of command.
Call the DMV to confirm. Better yet, go there and get a new one.
