I've grown up on this river and at this park. At 43 years old, I still love it! There are a few built in grills, a small playground area for kids, plenty of space for volleyball or soccer, a covered picnic shelter with restrooms.... not including tubing down the river.... It's freaking awesome!!

Good take out spot for tubing the Dan River or just playing in the river! There is also a picnic shelter and play area.

Extremely busy, but still plenty of parking and room to move around. Park was clean and well maintained. Lots of portapotties should the need arrive. Plenty of river access for tubing or to cool off

I go at least once a week to walk and just sit and listen to the river 🙃 one of my favorite places close by.
