Personally I am a bit reluctant to share with you all what my wife and I consider to be a quiet escape from the busyness of life. We were there on Valentine's for a little picnic lunch date and we were treated to Red Headed Woodpeckers and Great Blue Herons. In the summer when everything greens up there are lily pads all over the marsh waters. The trails around the marsh are low impact and quite enjoyable. Go and enjoy but do the wildlife a favor and keep reasonably quiet and don't leave any trash. This is a sit and listen kind of place.

It looked beautiful from the pictures posted and pleasant from the reviews but today, Saturday, May 7, 2022 at about 2:15pm when i drove up to the park..the gates were closed and cones blocking entrance. Not sure what is going on currently regarding this trail but be warned, might be closed when you try to go there to explore

An excellent place for a routine run, I wouldn't really say hike since the terrain is not rough. My dog really enjoyed her time through here, it appears on maps to be pretty big, but we weren't able to venture to far out. Hopefully next …

This trail is great! The trail is not paved, however you can still clearly tell where the trail leads etc. The nature around adds to the enjoyment! It's beautiful and a great place to just relax and take a stroll.

Didn't see any when I was there
Never heard that they weren't. I have taken mine several times and have seen others bring theirs.
