This is not a bad Campground. Lots of trees. If you want spots get some of the higher numbered spots or you'll be at the front of the campground without much privacy. Unfortunately it's not near the water unless you have a boat. July 4th weekend was crazy at the boat ramp. Only the top parking lot had spaces and only a few so you had to walk way down to the dock. The website tells you to take quarters for the showers but that is not what you need to do. They have a token machine outside of the showers, however it only takes dollar bills so make sure you have dollars. There was no hot water at all for the showers the entire weekend we were there. The front building had no lights at night. It is great that they have a lot of showers though. Everything seemed to be very clean. The lady who checked us in for July 4th weekend on Friday should not have been there. She couldn't just concentrate on one customer at a time, we waited in line for over 20 minutes just to try to get through the gate. She was all over the place and by herself. Not smart on a Holiday weekend. Like any Campground be prepared to have rowdy and inconsiderate campers. The first night we were kept awake till 4:30 a.m. and then the second night even after the police came my husband had to go across the street twice to the other Campground and tell everyone to shut up and go to sleep!

Yes.
No campground is free, it's like $20 a night
No dog fee, your dog just needs to be leashed.
48 near showers and bathroom. A nice, roomy, flat spot.
Yes its open. But you cannot make reservations, you have to come to the campground. 1st come 1st serve. Also....very wet and windy right now
I would say its not long enough, we have a 28' single slide trailer and squeezed between trees with the awning fully extended.
Yes you can. However no matter where you take them, they must be on a leash no longer than 6' at all times.
They usually do.
No power,no hook ups . They do have a waste dump . Each couple of spots have a water spicket .
There are specific campsites for camping with horses
I ts not more than a 5 minute walk from coyote camp ground . There Is a day use only which you can drive down to . Close to the lake to fish . Right mow it's beautiful here . Come and see .
It is best you reserve your campsite because you might lose your site if it has been reserved the following day or days.
They usually let the water rise for holiday weekends. It should be relatively good for an outing. As an alternative, there's always the afterbay. Just head out west on 162 from Oroville. Go past the golf course and turn left on Wilbur Rd. It is a dirt road but well maintained. A great place to hang out and bring the kids and pets. No leash laws there either. And, it's free.
