Inconsiderate staff (besides Jake) that does not prioritize reservations or call customers back to compensate their money and time. I understand being short staffed, but when a 1pm reservation gets a boat before a 12pm reservation that is unacceptable. We waited 2 hrs for a boat that we showed up 15 minutes early for. To then be told it would be ready in 10 minutes 3x, to then a staff member finally cleaning off a boat that seemed to be ready surprisingly fast (where was that boat the whole 2 hrs???) all in 112 degree weather. The cherry on top of this horrible situation was a staff member in aviator sunglasses and Nikes was loudly mocking customers for complaining. Cal will also not call me back to make this situation right. If this is how an establishment treats veterans I will never come back and I am very disappointed in their service. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Very pretty lake. They're doing a great job at the marina keeping things going even though the lake level is so low.

Yes all rental prices and availability is on the California state parks website.
Yes Bidwell launch and lime saddle are to only 2 open.
Not encouraged, pro tip: do at launch ramp. Away from the marina
Yes, Bidwell Marina of coarse pricey. Approximately a quarter mile from Bidwell is a market + gas, liquor store and Dollar General. This is on the main road and entrance to the lake.
No, the marinas do not allow live abords. I believe it is 30 days you can stay and then you have to be gone 1 week then you can stay another 30 days and so on. The place is a ghost town in the winter and the water level is so low you need to be a mountain climber to get to your boat.
overnight = 2 days so $16
A yacht can fit on the lake. If that what you meant. The Ramos are faily steep.there are many huge boats on the lake that used the existing ramps. There are very few spots available to Moore your boat. I think there may be a few at lime saddle, but not Bidwell. Call ahead.
Around 3,000 per year depending on the size of your house boat and whether or not you're on a ball or a dock.
Or you can get a season pass. I think it is around $100
