If you think that this place is good to leave your loved one at the mercy of nurses and nursing assistants, you are wrong. My mother had a severe stroke which left her unable to move, practically blind. I thought this center was good for her rehabilitation, but we were wrong, we traveled from New York and for 4 nights and 3 days I stayed by her side, the nightmare began, I saw how they took my mother at 7:00 in the morning to have breakfast and then her therapies, I had time to observe what was happening there, I arrived one day at 4:00 in the afternoon and found my mom in her wheelchair, I said my God, from 7:00 am until now is a long time. to the staff, the next day I decided to come back earlier, this time at 1:00 PM, again my mom asleep, tired, and her head on one side and her legs out of the support, I looked at the blackboard and read that her next therapy It was at 2:30 PM, I wanted to scream, I cried, I got angry and decided to make a report, it was already a lot, and I still hadn't reported what in. Those 4 days nobody bathed her, if the diaper was not wet they left it 2 days without changing, the cold water to drink for the patients is scarce because they do not carry it every day, you have to ask for it, the food arrives completely cold, I was there 3 days to bring me a bib. But well, my brother and I decided to give the complaint to the supervisors who treated us with great respect, affection and concern for the situation, we agreed that we would take our mother home before having her in a place not suitable and that no more therapy would be given. My God, give my brother to take me to the Orlando airport and when he returns these irresponsible people put her in his wheelchair and took her away again without our authorization, I informed the night shift nurse, tell the assistant, tell the dining room manager , and can you believe that they still ignored it? I said oh, to get my mom out of that center as soon as possible. professional ethics, a fa It shows no respect for the patient and his family of him and it is a mockery of the profession. I do not recommend this place to leave a loved one sleeping there, I do not know if there is no coordinator to educate this inefficient staff. I write this from the airport praying to God my brother, take my mother home today. I fear for her health from her and even for her life from her. There are few who love their profession and many who do it for a salary. Mayra Ramos, daughter of patients Carmen Rivera, avitation 165. As I finished writing this opinion I received a call from Dr. Marisol informing me that she had not been taken to therapy, please, my brother found her outside her room and in therapy, please God, there is no communication between employees and supervisors? Since yesterday we told you our feelings and did not authorize the exit of my mother's room, an indication that you did not follow. I am amazed at so much negligence. 7/9/2022. Don't clean bag frequently

Encompass is the best Rehabilitation Hospital that I've ever been involved with. My husband came down with Guillian-Barre Syndrome (GBS) which is a severe life threatening neurological disease, and he was sent to Encompass for rehabilitation since he was paralyzed from the waist down, and minimum use of his hands. When he got to Encompass he was at maximum in regards to having to be lifted entirely by more than one person. He had been sent over by Advent Hospital and the environment was not very pleasant there, but, when he got to Encompass his whole mental attitude alone changed; because he now had motivation along with being surrounded by skilled Doctors, and Nurses to help him. The room was clean and they were there 24 hours a day taking care of their patients, and no one did without encouragement or help. He had wonderful physical and occupational therapist, who took my husband and gave him motivation and they gave him hope that he would be able to walk again and write again. At that point he was bedridden; but because of these wonderfully dedicated nurses, technicians, therapist, doctors, my husband re-gained the ability to walk, and speak, and use his hands. Even Bonnie who was the Receptionist was so very helpful to me, when I needed guidance .The doctors were absolutely amazed that he recuperated as quickly as he did. This Hospital is the best for Rehab that you will ever find in our minds and our experience. We thank you Encompass and we thank each and every one of you for helping my husband and for being such support for me, his wife, during those almost 20+ days that he was there at your facility in April 2021. God bless you all. Thank you Robin (Rob) Cursi and his wife, Patty Denniston.

As someone who is responsible for managing a skilled nursing facility, I can truly say that this facility a clean and well-maintained facility. The staff are super approachable (e.g., housekeeping, nursing, etc), which is something each healthcare facility strives for but does not always achieve. Janet in wound care was amazing, as well as Kim (my grandfather’s nurse). The housekeeping assistant who worked on his unit today was also incredibly kind, but I didn’t not catch her name. All in all, this facility is very commendable and I would recommend them!
