I want to post how amazing Kindred Hospice was with my father and family. The intake care team, Paula and Samantha, enrolled us into the hospice program with an abundance of kindness and compassion. Paula, Dad's nurse, showed Dad is utmost respect during her assessment of him. Even Kevin, the equipment delivery person, was kind, efficient and caring. Twice we called the on-call team over the weekend and all the staff we spoke with were professional and responded to our calls quickly. During the final visit, Amy, the nurse-on-call who came to make the final home visit, allowed us the opportunity to help provide care for Dad and answered all our questions with such professionalism and caring support. Our family is very pleased with the teamwork, compassion and support the Kindred team provided for us. Thank you!
the awsome Squad !!!!!!
This is the worst place the worst experience with social worker lisa that has been in our family business has treated my brothers and I with no respect had family come from Puerto Rico and my uncle and aunt were disgusted with her actions and behavior towards are family and the nerve to say we were the worst family she has ever dealt with and also being a mediator or a warden towards are visits she sides with just the caretaker they haven't allowed us to see our mother I don't know why she still working there she should be fired period and it's the truth and I have proof sincerely from the Ayende family

This Hospice service is terrible. I am shocked at how they handle things. My dad had needed a nurse to come out and help him 2 times, I’ve called and get nothing but the run around. They tell you they’ll help and don’t!! I’ve complained and asked for a different nurse and they won’t give him one. The nurse he has is very unprofessional and dresses unprofessional as well. She has spilled her personal affairs to my parents and that very unprofessional and I believe she is using her position to prey on my elderly parents. My dad has kidney failure and congenital heart failure plus other problems and my mom has had a stroke. They said they were there to help us and make things easier. They have messed up my dad’s medications also! I have had to go behind them and fix things. This hospice has been nothing but stress and problems! Do your research before using this particular service!

With pain and symptom management, as well as education and support, hospice care allows patients and families to focus on what is truly important When Life Matters Most. It is a unique health care approach in which the patient and family are the focus, not the disease. Hospice care helps patients and their families make the most of the time that remains. Hospice is a team of specially trained health care professionals caring for the patient and relieving anxiety for the caregiver/family. Our hospice support team helps patients and families with pain and symptom management, social, emotional, and grief issues. Hospice brings comfort and quality to the remaining months, weeks, and days.
Hospice care is for people who have a life-limiting illness with a life expectancy of six months or less, and have chosen to focus on comfort care over treatment. Hospice works with the patient and family to develop a plan of care specific to their disease and individual needs. Eligibility criteria includes frequent hospitalizations, progressive weight loss, deteriorating mental abilities, frequent infections, and/or an overall decline in condition.
