DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL! THEY'RE PROPERTY IS UNDER RENOVATION BUT THEY STILL TAKING PEOPLE MONEY FOR STAYS AND THEY WONT ANSWER THE PHONE TO REFUND YOU! I CONTACTED THE HIGHER UPS AND THIS HOTEL ISNT EVEN UNDER THE WYNDHAM HOTEL ANYMORE I booked for Jan 22-23 and when I arrived after about 30 minutes the security guard got in contact with someone and they told him that they are doing renovations therefore they weren’t accepting stays. BUT STILL TOOK MY MONEY!!!. Hotels.com can’t give me a refund or get in contact with them. I’m very upset I worked hard for my $150 AND IT WAS MY 18th BIRTHDAY!!!

Around December I called this location, and spoke with a representative. I asked her a few questions regarding the hotel, because I wanted to book a room for the night. The night that I came to check in at the hotel, me and the people I was with saw mattresses outside. My friend and I went to the door, and saw a sign that said the location had been sold! At that point I was very confused. We saw a truck pull into the parking lot and it was a lady, and a man. They told us that the location had been sold, and that we needed to leave. We voiced to them that the lady whom I spoke with on the phone did not notify me that they were selling the property. I knew something was not right when I saw the lights were off inside and I didn’t see security in sight. I spent the rest of the night trying to find a hotel! We called Hawthornes 1-800 number as well as other Hawthorne hotels, and no one knew they were selling the property. Even when we booked with another Hawthorne hotel nearby, when we got there they said they couldn’t find our reservation. I definitely won’t be booking with any hotel associated with Wyndham in the nearby future!

I first want to say thank you to the front desk guy who worked 9/17-9/21 I hate I didn't get his name. Anyway he was so helpful and understanding. My sister is disabled and happen to get sick during our stay. We were visiting from Texas. Anyway he allowed family member's and friends to stop by and drop off food without any harassment. Which kept me from being stressed about her care. So I really appreciate that. And the security there is serious business! Which I didn't mind because I'm not going to lie I did feel uncomfortable with the young peope hanging around. So Koodles to the entire Security team. Your the best!!! You made me feel safe. And I kinda understand why you have to charge a parking fee after 7pm because it keeps down some of the partying. I also understand how it's not fair to those who don't have an hidden agenda. They just want to stay somewhere that has a home away from home like feel. But I do agree with some of the other reviews. This place has great potential but you have to make some minor changes. Like maybe investing in new furniture (dark colored) to avoid noticable stains, get rid of carpeted floors (super nasty) My advice would be hardwood floors. It would be easier to keep clean and it would give the rooms a more updated look. My last two cents would be to pour bleach down the kitchen sink after every check-out to keep down the gnats because there were a lot in our room. Also rooms on the ground floor should be dusted for spiderwebs after each stay. There were a lot of spider webs and spiders in our room. I actually killed a huge spider in the bathroom. And I'm terrified of bugs!!! Especially spiders!!! So besides needing a little cosmetics, our stay was great!!! We give credit to great customer service!!!

This visit could have gone south quick. We went to a room that we loved... then saw a baby roach. We killed it, and had dinner... then a full grown roach appeared. I spoke to the front desk clerk who was understanding and didn't make a bunch of excuses- he immediately offered to move us to another room in a separate building. He also advised me that he would mark the room unfit and insure it was sprayed, etc. The way the front desk handled the situation was perfect. Had he done anything less than what he did, we would've found another place. In addition, the rooms are gorgeous, very clean and they take security seriously here. Will definitely stay again.

This place is so messed up!!! Please don’t stay here! A spring was coming out of the bed, the carpet was dirty, facet was loose and leaking water from the side, shower was filthy AF, just everything was dirty and a hot mess.

We had the same experience in June of this year. We admittedly returned to the front desk and asked, for our money back.
