Have created precious memories in this Fall wonderland over many years now. Delightfully picturesque cider mill by a stream with bridges and ducks. The honey crisp cider is served cold, crisp and is, honestly, honey sweet. The greasy …

Scenic and tourist-like. Out of the all the cider mills in metro Detroit, this one probably has the most inflated prices but that can’t come as any surprise as it’s located in Franklin on the border of Bloomfield Township. I love that they …

Franklin Cider Mill. The absolute best. My advice for all who would come seeking Pure Michigan Nostalgia. Don't come looking for things that are not here and have never been here. This is Franklin Cider Mill. They have Franklin Cider Mill doughnuts. Amazing, hearty, hot and fresh; deep fried and crispy on the edges. No, not sugar coated or filled. They are amazing just as they are. Apple Cider fresh pressed and as sweet as nature itself. They have memorabilia, a history wall, and plenty of Cider Mill Nostalgia. They will put up tables and chairs if you have a large group and ask. A babbling brook runs through with tons of hungry ducks and black walnut trees overhead. They have some chest height tables and a few benches by the stream. Tons of seasonal apple and farm fresh products to purchase as well. They have pull apart apple pie bread, apple pies, jelly and jams, syrups and dressings, so many amazing things. Some items sell out so you always have that possibility but when certain items are in such high demand, that's life! If you want cheap Cider, go to Kroger. If you want fresh pressed Pure Natural Cider, come to Franklin Cider Mill! My family of 6 is fulfilling our fall Cider Mill run before heading back to Florida and Franklin Cider Mill was absolutely amazing, just like it was when I lived in Michigan 30+ years ago. When I asked my kids if it was everything they heard it was they agreed it was amazing. So much more I could go on four hours. 5 stars all the way

What a wonderful cider mill. This is the best, personable cider mill I’ve been to in a very long time! They were very organized and professional. I wished I got the name of this gentleman that was helping people get into shorter lines, …

Hello Tony - In 2019 Franklin Cider Mill began taking all types of credit cards to make it easier for our customers. Looking forward to seeing you soon!
Yes, as it's all outdoors currently, as mentioned though there are many ducks in the stream all the time.
Free. Parking fills up fast, you might have to park up the road & walk a short distance. Also, You can buy your donuts, cider, etc. Online before hand so you dont have to wait in a long line.
As of 2021, yes they do! They have 2-packs of delicious donuts that are sold sealed to prevent cross contamination. Last year they even heated them up for me, so I could enjoy a warm donut with my kids.
Reading the label now and it says pure apple cider from fresh Michigan apples. Not pasteurized. No mention of organic classification.
Its not "clear" {like say apple juice} but it's not "cloudy" either. The word I might use is.... condensed? (but certainly not "thick" or anything like that!) It's what a fresh pressed apple should look like. And, it is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Seriously, Franklin makes one of THE BEST Apple Cider's in Michigan...if not the whole country, -& I have tried quite a few different apple ciders - in Michigan, but not around the rest of the counrty tho. *I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Apple Cider! *I even got a small freezer just to keep frozen Cider during the off season-I often drink it every single day -until we run out & I have to wait to get more! But seriously, unpasteurized cider is not as good. Unless u have a weakend immune system tho, its really nothing to worry about!
Always open the Saturday before Labor Day through the Sunday after Thanksgiving.
When I went last week, there was a box of small orange ones for sale, across from the apple shack.
Yeah but that's natural sugar from the apple's they never put sugar in there apple cider they told me that when i was there
Hi Storm. Cider in gallons cost $11.00; 1/2 gallons are $7.00. Donuts are $9.00/dozen and $6.00/ 1/2 dozen. Thank you for asking.
There's no entry charge. Just park, stand in line (which moves fast no matter how long) and purchase the goodies of your choice.
No. Just pies, cider, doughnuts and some other stuff.
About $10 for a dozen
The cider mill closed for the season on December 1. It is only open from Labor Day weekend through Thanksgiving weekend each year
Yes it is. If you go on the weekend go early. Much easier to get in and out.
Yes! New this year, credit cards are accepted for purchases inside. Ie: cider, doughnuts, baked goods. They do not accept credit cards in the tents out in the parking lot where they sell fruit, jams, roasted nuts, ect. They also have atm inside.
They are now closed for a season
Not anymore! I just went last Saturday, and they now accept card payments. Yay!
The last day they are open is the Sunday after Thanksgiving.
They sell apple pies as well as cider, syrup, apples and dunnuts. It is delicious! The place is very pretty. People are very nice and very clean. I recommended to visit that place.
Yes they did, at least at the time i was there last week. I think 50 cents per Apple or a bag for a flat rate.
No, it's a very compact location overall. There's not much in the way of activities like you would expect at Blake's or Big Reds.
$1.25 per donut. Apple bread was $9.00 a loaf
You have to pay for the cider and donuts but they are reasonably priced.
Varies, call ahead to check the schedule.
Well the thing is you can go and get the cider from the Mill it's really good cold. Or if they hive it to you really hot like hot chocolate. The thing is if you purchase it there cold it needs to stay cold. If it becomes roo temperature then thats when it becomes dangerous.
I Don't think so. But The Cider Is absolutely delicious. And the donuts have cinnamon baked into them, and they are also delicious.
It might be today. They normally end the weekend after thanksgiving
Buy it then ship it. Simple as that!
The gluten free ones have cinnamon and sugar. Not sure otherwise.
Not sure. But I would check out their website.
No hay rides. This place is not an apple orchard. Its a cider mill. No land for horses.
No entry fee. You pay for what you take. Its a mill Not an apple orchard. They have limited apples type for sale & only one flavour of small plain doughnuts. They have various other items for sale.
Typically they are open until Thanksgiving weekend.
Chow chow is put on greens, spinach and kale as a flavor enhancer
Not sure, we went early afternoon, but the mill is not open until the apples are more ripe. They had a flavored ice station open when we were there.
