Well the thing is you can go and get the cider from the Mill it's really good cold. Or if they hive it to you really hot like hot chocolate. The thing is if you purchase it there cold it needs to stay cold. If it becomes roo temperature then thats when it becomes dangerous.
*Pasteurized cider tastes absolutely TERRIBLE! & Honestly, it IS -for the most part - SAFE for most people to drink unpasteurized Apple Cider... *unless you have a weakened immune system, so: -some elderly, very small children & people with certain conditions...& Then isn't that its dangerous, its that it MAY contain bacteria that "could" be dangerous to these people, or cause them issues. I do believe Yates Cider Mill uses UV light treatment on their Apple Cider (which is also NOT pasteurized) but I'm not sure if Franklin does the UV treatment or not.
