I am beyond frustrated with this organization. My boyfriend is moving to Spain to teach at a school for a year and needed to obtain a visa. He submitted all the required documentation in July. I obviously want to move him in and help him get settled so we booked flights for the end of September thinking 2+ months should be MORE than enough time. Our flight is less than a week away and he still hasn't received his visa. We've called and emailed multiple times and received no help. Now he may have to cancel his flight and I'll have to go alone because our accommodations are non-refundable. Absolutely ridiculous.

I had an emergency with my passport at the airport and the man who attended me even at 2 in the morning was excellent. Thanks to him I can start my vacation!

Excellent service

They open on Mondays afternoon usually.. Try emailing them, they might notify!
So vaccination or Certificate of Recovery is mandatory to enter Spain? Not just a negative test?
Have you seen any new dates being released? I have been looking for weeks!
This is the last place they would read. If you fail to contact them, try to come in person between Tue and Thu in the morning (visa days) - it may work.
Like Ramon Noriega said but sometimes he is got high
Thank you. Just emailed them again with all the info you mentioned. Hopefully they will reply.
9:00am to 1:30pm, Monday through Friday
Hi! Have you been able to book an appointment yet? I'm having the same problem. I read a review that someone had to go in person just to make an appointment :(( also im not a local guide i have no idea why google put that there
They only let you make an appointment through the portal. They open up new appointments every 2 weeks on Friday. One thing you can try if you need the appointment before new ones open up that ended up working for me is going into the office and sitting there in case there is a last minute cancelation or a no show. I had to sit from the time they opened at 9 until 12:45 but it worked. Also make sure you have EVERYTHING you need ready and organized because they will probably turn you away if you don't. Also be prepared for the possibility that they cannot help you the first time you try that.
When they arrive they can go to the Spanish consulate in Boston and register for the elections
Hello, if you go to the consulate in the same way they will tell you that the appointment is online
The biggest problem is I live in a rural state 6 hours away. This has been a nightmare trying to get an appointment.
If you go there, you can make an appointment personally.
They are at the Spanish consulate, they ask for an appointment via net
I looked all day on Monday and nothing opened up. Nothing opened up today either
For that you must go to the consulate with the papers and documents that guarantee that you have a work contract in Spain
The answer likely depends on whether he will be applying for a visa through his college or study abroad program, or as an individual. The appointment sites for both consulates describe who's eligible to make an appointment like so: "Only apply at this Consulate if your permanent address is or you study in: " For Boston, the states listed are ME, NH, MA VT and RI. For NYC it's NY, NJ, CT, PA and DE. As Sara advised, a close review of the visa pages at the respective consulate sites will provide more information, including a link to the site where you can make an appointment. Just search for Spanish Consulate Boston or NYC. By the way, appointments are not easy to come by. In Boston, appointments are typically posted twice a month, two weeks at a time. Available appointments for the first two weeks of the month usually appear during the last week of the previous month, and during the second week of the month for the last two weeks of the month. And they go very quickly.
Hey Carlos so I need a credit card?
There are really affordable monthly payments for private health insurance. Asisa or Adeslas are some of these insurances I've used before and I recommend personally.
You have to apply for a visa in the state in which you have a state ID or lisence in, or for your district. The district for this office includes: Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island, and possibly Connecticut. There are appointments there now. My suggestion would be to go on the website and schedule an appointment and see what appointments are available. These questions can be answered by simply looking at the website.
Are there available appointments on there site now? Also can I apply for a Schengen visa at a different consulates office?
You need to keep checking the website each morning. They release new blocks of open slots somewhat randomly, every 1 to 3 weeks. Sometimes a single booked slot will open up from a cancelation.
You need one for each visit if you arrive at the home of family or friends. If not, the hotel reservation is worth it
Go to their website. There you will find a whole list of visa types. Yours would probably fall under a business visa. The website will tell you everything you need to submit to the consilate & how far in advance you should book your appointment. Once you know the visa type and requirements (& how long it'll take you to obtain the required documents), then book an appointment time accordingly. This can only be done online. They will send an email to confirm your appointment.
A spanish parent
Hello, what is the email to be able to take the appointment of the consulate here in Boston Massachusetts
Hi Michelle, I am facing the same issue. Did you manage to solve it? They don't respond to the emails and neither do they answer the phone? Thanks!!
Do you need an appointment to register at the consulate?
Call the consulate
Yes, there's a parking garage right in front of the building
