I have been trying to get in contact with this consulate for months now. I try calling multiple times a day and I am always on the portal trying to schedule my appt. I have sent emails and have yet to hear back from anyone. Any idea what to do?

The biggest problem is I live in a rural state 6 hours away. This has been a nightmare trying to get an appointment.

You need to go even if you do not have an appointment and wait for them to attend you and do your paperwork, if you need to return you can schedule your appointment at that time they are very busy.
