Odd Pet Vet is an Amazing Animal Care Clinic. I just wish it was closer. ❤🐹

I brought my baby bearded dragon here for his first wellness check. I couldn’t have been more impressed, the staff is extremely knowledgeable, kind and helpful. The facility is really cool well worth the 2 1/2 hour drive

Yes they see ferrets. Just call and make an appointment. I believe its $30 per ferret for the appointment. Both Doc.Mertz and Doc.Kneeland are amazing.
Yeah they do Regan m.
I'm sure if you called them tomorrow they will, they are really good and don't turn away animals.
Yes and they are amazing with them... I learned a lot about my leopard on our visit
They treated my black blood python for a ruptured brill from rat bit. They are absolutely phenomenal
Routine office visits are $65 for one animal, the same $65 for two of the same animals, and after that $23 for each additional same type of animal. They would discuss fees for surgery or other procedures at an office visit, but as you can see their rates are very reasonable. They are a not for profit practice that supports the NE Wildlife Center.
Hello, thank you for your question! No, we do not treat dogs or cats.
I'm not sure about Chinchillas specifically. However, Odd Pet Vet does have a pretty solid reputation as far as I've seen, heard, and read. I brought my 15 year old iguana there just recently. They treat your pet in the front of the building. And the front of the building is mostly window, so you are able to stand outside and watch thru the window.... maybe not for surgery, I'm not sure on that one. But you could call them (You may have to leave a message. They called me back within the hour.) And ask if they have a veterinarian who has done this procedure, schedule an appointment for a check up/second opinion. Get a feel for the place. They are a nonprofit and charge only the cost of the procedure/treatment. They treat a wide variety of animals and I've also heard people come from out of state to have their pets seen here. Best wishes to you and your little guy!
They do! :)
I've called 8 times asking this same question, or trying to make an apt and no one will call me back -_-
No idea, but pretty sure the Odd Pet Vet will beat any other price. Also can see if RAAM IVS mobile vet can do it. Great with exotics. Good Luck!
Need to call for appointment. They are open 7 days and being very safe!
Very low prices. Way lower than most vets, way lower than they should be. Please get your animal treated ASAP. VCA South shore is also good, right up the street.
Their website will say, I think its something like that price around $65-$75...my daughters hamster was $69 and $22 for medicine.
Yes they do I've taken mine there they are amazing.
They deal with lots of different types of animals. I've seen rabbits there not guinea pigs, however that's only when I've been. It's best to call and ask your specific problem.
Not sure. You should call and ask.
Their flat fee for an exam is $69, heavily discounted if you have more than one of the same animal. They keep costs there to a minimum as they are a non profit. The practice's main function is to support their wildlife rescue and education programs. A $5 donation gets you a self guided tour of the 3 story facility. If you want high quality treatment, and don't want to worry about unnecessary costs, just go!
To my knowledge they care for exotic pets and rescue injured and/or abandoned wildlife probably to either send to a refuge or release back into their habit, but do not believe they are shelter for abandoned pets. For that you should try the Animal Rescue League in Boston.
Yes they most definitely will . They have no only seen mine but right away knew what was wrong . Best exotic vet around in my opinion .
I would call their phone #. If not they should be able to get you the phone number of an animal rehabilitator in your area.
They probably do work with those lovely birds as the Odd Pet Vet works with exotic pets and birds. They do not work with domestic dogs and cats due to potential cross transfer of diseases to exotic animals.
I actually brought a hurt wild mouse many yrs ago & they took him for treatment, but he jumped out of the box & ran off when they opened it :D They didn't mind either that they then had a resident mouse in the house.
I would have him call them directly and ask. Im sure they always take volunteers.
They are very capable of treating large and small tortoises there. If he had not had an exam in several years it's worth your peace of mind to have him seen.
They were great examining and boarding my parrot. I'm sure it would be the same for a conure.
They rescue large raptors and other birds (there was a falcon at the clinic being treated for lead poisoning while I was last there) so I'm sure they would be able to help you.
d
They call you back in short order
You can call the center and leave your name and number and they'll call you back
Absolutely, this is where I take my leos :)
I would think this is exactly something they would do. Definitely call. I believe the visit for each would cost $23.
They are usually open during the week. Monday - Friday? But its only certain hours
I believe the volunteer program is still going, though they may only be able to have a certain number at a time. I bet if you call in to the front desk, they'll have the info you need :) If you get the machine, just try again later (they are usually really busy, I sometimes have to call a few times before I catch them) Good luck!
I think they would be able to see her - I'd call the office to see if you can schedule something.
Call the center.
Odd Pet Vet see all "unusual none conventional pets. Hamsters, hedgehogs, poor belly pigs, snakes, birds etc.
They do not accept Care Credit.
yes they do and they are very good at what they do the best veterinarian I have ever seen in my life I have a bearded dragon that she was very sick and they were the best you will be very happy with these people
They have a large variety of tanks for sale, numerous sizes.
I don't work for the center, I'm just a customer, but there are a number of reasons why he might not be eating. My best advice is to bring him to the center, and they will check him out and make sure he is ok, and then can advise you on the specific care he needs.
