Brought my date here last night and had a wonderful time. The staff were very attentive and courteous to us. The drinks were done well and strong too. We chose the specials for the night. Bone-in NY strip was amazing and the grouper was really good. We ended the night very nicely with the grandma's chocolate cake.

Not basing this review on staying at the hotel. The gem underneath it though is Carters Restuarant. It was delicious. Service is great. If your looking for a great place to snag a drink and some great food this is the spot. Quality is worth the trip down the busy Beacon streets.

For anyone who wants to avoid loud music from downstairs bar, you're going to have to stay on the upper level. Those rooms are more pricey, but worth it. Our room was clean and spacious. The only annoying parts were dusty side lamps, fitted sheets that didn't fit the bed and a broken toilet paper holder. Otherwise, it's a decent place to stay for a first trip to Beacon. Also, drinks at the bar were great, but the lady waiter was in such a rush all the time, we didn't even get to ask for the 10% off.

I haven't stayed at the hotel but the restaurant deserves a 5 star rating. Every time we went the food and service were excellent, the portions were generous, the drinks were delicious. Today my husband ordered their Mother's Day brunch take out and all I can say is WOW. The owner and the chefs went above and beyond in making this Mother's Day special. The whole family (including a 4 and 8 year olds that can be picky at times) kept raving how delicious everything was and I am looking forward to leftovers tomorrow.
