Lowe's is the worst for returning anything, Home Depot you are in and out in a couple of minutes. Have been here for awhile and haven't moved.

Just spent over $600 buying a lawnmower, box weight 93 lbs. So disgusted with Lowe's. It has basically become a self-service store. At this point, THEY should be paying their CUSTOMERS for doing their job for them, either that or label themselves a " Self- serve warehouse" and lower their prices accordingly!!! 1. No one to help this female with two torn rotator cuffs load the lawnmower onto the cart, a customer saw me and asked if I needed help and he loaded it. 2. Long lines in self checkout, not ONE cashier to be seen. ONLY self checkout. 3. I asked them to call someone to help me load into my car, no one came. Again, a customer saw and asked if I needed help and he kindly did it. If Lowe's is changing it's service model, they should let customers know. Either that or the GM running this store is falling down on the job. After almost forty years of being a loyal Lowe's customer and stock owner, maybe it's time to go to Home Depot instead...

Watching out . Rent the carpet steamer,(it is charged by time). And when I got home and find out it’s a broken one and with out of order note. And lay meter on I have to make another trip. They didn’t even offer to extended my rental time. Why do I need to pay for it and rent their broken stuff? It’s ridiculous. Spoken to the store. First I understand the carpet steamer doesn’t own by them, but the company did their job, it had broke note on it. Lowes employee still rent broken one out , and what fault I have in this? I need to pay for it which can’t function. Back and forth to exchange , clock still on me.

Very good and fast service
You need to contact the service department at the Lowe's store in the area.
They have respirators.
In my recent visit, all Covid practices were very evident. All customers were compliant also.

No, Lowe's doesn't rent out tools. Pretty sure you can buy it, use it, and return it saying it's broke though. That's what everybody did when I worked there.
