We purchased the Rio Mobility Firefly in January 2020 and hired a handyman to put it together for us. We did have a problem with a jammed handlebar right away but, after emailing Rio, we were able to loosen it. My boyfriend has PPMS and uses his wheelchair and he likes the Rio for around our neighborhood, although it is difficult for him to get up any inclines and he has to lean forward in order to get up them. This device does allow him to roll over grass and to get quickly around. We agree with other reviews about how misleading the YouTube video is showing the girl easily attaching it to her wheelchair by herself. It's definitely a 2 person job to get it attached and lined up and is not the easiest for a disabled person to do. There is a design flaw in the location of the cords when you change batteries or remove the battery to charge it. Today I noticed one of the cords that had been cut open by the battery. Photos attached although I'm not sure how well you can see it. We did have a problem with the mounts on the actual wheelchair sliding locations and had to mess with that as well. We were considering purchasing the Batec model but since the price tag was closer to $9000, we chose this device. For the price, there is room for improvement in the materials used....I see plastic zip ties, etc.

Rio Mobility and its devices has enriched my life in so many ways we did not think were possible before hearing about them. Honestly, I can't imagine life without the Firefly. It is great for day trips, shopping, visiting parks and overseas travel. Since having it we have gone to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, Washington DC (saved my shoulders and arms from likely injury if we hadn't used the Firefly for the several miles traversed on a daily basis), Hawaii, Alaska, Yosemite and Yosemite National Park, not to mention several others. I find it more convenient than using a car when travelling shorter distances. Fits well in even smaller cars along with wheelchair, suitcases and companions. The attachable feature is convenient for planned visits to restaurants, shops, houses. Price is reasonable for abilities.
