Are they strict on trailer length? It' says 24ft...my trailer is 24ft but the overall length is closer to 27.

Accomodates 24 ft in length but as long as it isn't out on the road. There are some campsites which seem to have a longer parking and some campers do backin their trailers or RV.
Sometimes its better to make reservations to make sure u have a spot but for the most u can just go and pay when u get there. Summer time probably better to make reservations.
$30.00 per campsite/night. One vehicle is included with your $30.00, second vehicle (additional) is $10.00 per night. EACH CAMPSITE has 2 parking spots.
Are any of the swimming spots, beaches, rivers, etc deep?

Yes you can swim in salmon bay right in park camping or day use
Can I leave a legally sized crawfish trap (I have a fishing license) in the river overnight and come back for it in the morning?

Well there is a day pass you'd have to purchase to enter the park, but pretty sure you can, and if you're camping then I don't see what the issue would be.
When your once in your camping area are able to drive in and out of park
Lake? What lake? Um. The only place allowed for dogs is the "hidden beach" but technically not a dog friendly state park due to ticks. Trust me I found 2 on my puppy and I thought I checked her good.
I just drove through about three weeks ago and not a soul in sight, All the sites open. But fishing is closed throughout the park, did not say if or when it would open again.
Is that a real question? No, doubt even coyotes or fox. Some Beaver, fish, squirrel and other small critter, birds. It's a state park, not an RV park. But it's at the end of Austin Road and all the way up to the entrance is farm land.
I might looking to have a fire pit at the campsites but on the website says the campsites don’t have fire pits/rings.
Are you allowed to have fires at the campsites?

Yes when I was there last year we enjoyed a fire both. Nights
$10 day pass. 8-sunset
$30 camp. No hookups 😞
Each camp spot is unique.
Look before you buy. Beware the wild turkey...
Do not taunt. He does all the taunting with feathers scraping the assfalt like Fready Kruger.
Most importantly.....
Stay on the Trail.

Dogs are allowed. Just cleanup after them and keep on leash. It is fun to let the dogs off the leash if they are small and non threatening but my dog got ticks from this activity and they were burrowing into my dog's skin...not easy to remove. And they may carry fatal Lyme disease.
Yes dogs are aloud but there is a fee and they must be on a leash also dogs aren't aloud on the trails or the beach. regardless of the leash wich sucks .. although I have seen alot of people ignore the beach and trail rule and have brought their furry friend's into the beach area with out problem but that being said it's still against the rules
Fires are allowed in fire pits. (In times of high fire danger they will impose no fires, but it is rare.) Bring your own wood or you can buy it at the park. Usually cheaper to buy it outside of park.
