They have a list of shelters and what not that they can not accept. Just be sure to call and see if your address is on that list. If it is on that list then you can not donate. At the risk of catching certain diseases from being homeless they have that list. Be sure to to.drink at least half a gallon of water and eat something protein based the day before you decide to donate

They just check to see if you're physically healthy, as in iron levels, protein levels, std free, free from any physical ailments/conditions that could compromise the donation. I believe you could even donate if you have diabetes, as long as it's managed. I think their also a list of medications you cannot be on because it will transfer into the plasma and potentially harm a recipient. You do need to call to make an appointment for the physical and you can donate that same day. Your 1st day is the longest day because of the physical, so make sure you eat and are well hydrated.

Donate Blood or Plasma? Because u can't donate Blood at Octopharma...only plasma.

When you make your first donation they will give you an envelope with your "wirecard" with your payment already preloaded onto the card. Now if you have already received a "wirecard" and maybe lost it or whatever then you will have two options. First option is they will tell you that you'll have to call the 800 number on the card. Or second they maybe be able to get you a replacement card at the octapharma office. All my ingo is based off of my experiences dealing with octapharma.
