Avoid AMC like the plague. I fell out of enjoying their services when the pandemic hit, and when I started going out again, I chose to go to a different theater because of their insistence of using NFT’s as incentives for buying tickets. That in and of itself isn’t the problem, though, the problem is that I cancelled my Stub’s account some time last year and yet they have still charged me for a renewal. No warning on that charge either, just completely out of the blue. No warning of renewal, nothing. I actively was looking into canceling and refunding but there isn’t anything about that.

Customer support is terrible. Been waiting 2 hours for a reply to a question via their prefer communication method (messenger). Seriously?????

Called the Olathe location for 45 minutes (several calls as it hangs up after a few minutes). Finally, got tired of it and called the headquarters support line where they finally inform me that they no longer are providing phone support. Although a lack of phone support is ludicrous, you would think it would be beneficial to inform someone of that at the individual locations so that they wouldn’t keep calling back…as it tells you to do.
