I had a wonderful experience from start to finish. I went in to have my nose straightened from a basketball injury along with adding a chin implant to help my side profile and give me a stronger jawline. As a male patient I can say I couldn’t be happier with my results. I have already recommended Dr Cusick to my friends.

Dr Cusick treated me for a broken thumb and I couldn't be happier with the care I received. His staff is professional yet friendly, and the office is intimate, clean, and comfortable. Dr Cusick was very clear about what my surgeries and healing time would look like and enthusiastically answered any questions I had. I felt very safe in his care and would go back for any future plastic surgery needs.

Dr Cusick and his team are absolutely wonderful. Dr Cusick made me feel at ease during each Dr’s visit . Dr Cusick not only transformed my body into amazing results, but he also educated me on the importance of a healthy lifestyle. I love my results! I have referred several ladies to his office as well. Thank you, Dr Cusick for helping me gain my confidence back..

A tummy tuck, also called abdominoplasty, is an extensive procedure that can help to flatten and tone the abdominal area. Women who have had one or more children often benefit most from a tummy tuck, because pregnancy and childbirth can take such a toll on the body. However, anyone with a protruding, sagging abdominal area can be a candidate.

How long does it take to recover from a breast lift?

Your breasts will be bruised, swollen, and uncomfortable for a day or two, but the pain shouldn’t be severe. Any discomfort you do feel can be relieved with medications prescribed by your surgeon. Within a few days, the bandages or surgical bra will be replaced by a soft support bra. You’ll need to wear this bra around the clock for three to four weeks, over a layer of gauze. The stitches will be removed after a week or two. You can expect some loss of feeling in your nipples and breast skin, caused by the swelling after surgery. This numbness usually fades as the swelling subsides over the next six weeks or so. In some patients, however, it may last a year or more, and occasionally it may be permanent.

Can you breast feed if you have implants?

Breast implants do not generally interfere with a woman’s ability to breast feed, or present a health hazard during pregnancy to a woman or her baby. However, pregnancy and the associated changes to a woman’s body may alter the results of any breast surgery, including surgery to place breast implants. Therefore, it is important to discuss the options of breast implant surgery with your plastic surgeon if you are interested in becoming pregnant and breast feeding in the future.
