Good church, but rather traditional. That’s usually a good thing in today’s world, but I say this with an eye on the lack of a children’s ministry here during the adults’ sermon. Reminded me of the churches I used to attend in the Netherlands, that are unfortunately dying out for lack of enthusiasm of the next, overstimulated, generation. While the church should stay 100% committed to the Bible and it’s teaching, this in no way implies that kids shouldn’t have fun and be biblically engaged at church while their parents hear the adult sermon (which should at times include topics that are inappropriate for children.) I have incredibly patient kids who fly and drive all over the country as part of their homeschooling, but even they dislike sitting through an adult targeted sermon, and who can blame them? I hope this is considered over the long haul; our home church in CO is busting at the seams and the kids LOVE church with full on bible lessons, no electronics needed. We must engage our youth in ways that keeps them engaged and learning.

This is a WONDERFUL church. Everyone is kind and welcoming, and the leadership is so faithful to hold to the Scriptures.
