USPS tried to deliver a leter/package but was unable due to lack of signature and left a notice. The notice did not have a send back date nor did it say that it was the final notice. When I went into the post office they had said that whatever letter/package was sent back because I received 3 notices and did not come pick it up in the alloted time. I never received more than one notice and I was never given a cutoff date for when the package needed to be picked up from the post office. Terrible.

I have had considerable decline in carrier reliability from the USPS. My monthly medication box, that is supposed to be signed for, was delivered to a different apartment and the occupants kept it. I've had my medication delivered to this address for 3 years without fail until now. I've also had many items that were supposedly put into my locked mailbox not there when opened as well as broken items delivered caused by the USPS. Overall the USPS has failed to provide the quality of service that it once did.

While I'm not a worker there I know that sometimes the mail gets jammed up in the machines they used to sort it. Or you might have a shity postal carrier.
The postmaster general went around when he got promoted to take out all the mail sorting machines so they have to do it by hand instead of a machine he tore out and threw away parts so they could not be ever used again but he had no money to buy new ones and he has no employees to sort the mail because he doesn't want to pay overtime

That is more a question for the postmaster at that particular location. If you raise the question in a true safety sense they might be responsive to your concern. But I've kind of lost call Hope and Faith and the United States Postal Service because they have robbed my packages too many times and I got proof emails verifying that it got on their truck but never got to my address they don't care. They don't care about the people anymore. If you need to send something or mail something I believe that FedEx or UPS is a much safer bet.
only at Martin City and Grandview do they take walk-ins. I actually just applied for my passport last month.
MY HUSBAND'S MEDS USED TO JUST VANISH THEY WOULD SAY THEY HAD SHIPPED THEM BUT WE DIDN'T GET THEM. THEY STARTED USING UPS AND SOLVED THE PROBLEM!!! NOW, IF MY MOVIES WOULD QUIT VANISHING!!!
You must contact the postmaster and request to move the location of your box. All delivery changes must be approved by the PM.
They are open from 8:30am-12:30pm on Saturdays except for holidays.
You dont need to renew your passport there just grab a renewal form fill it out and mail the old passport, payment, and new passport photo in yourself. You can definitely mail it off there but you Do Not need an appointment.
