Pretty hot today but a nice leisurely walk nonetheless.

Great trail with a great destination! Would not recommend attempting this between the hours of 10-4pm as it gets real hot real quick. The heat makes what is a fairly easy trail feel difficult, so please pay attention to the signs posted about safe hiking! Go in the morning or in the evening to catch the sunset on the way out. Would highly recommend packing a snack to eat at the oasis to soak up the shade, and clean up after yourself!

Absolutely breathtaking! You definitely want to be sure you are prepared for a hot hike. You will want to come with plenty of water and food in case you get tired along the way. The hike is downhill into the Oasis and then you have to turn around and come back uphill to get out so it can be a bit tiring if you're not used to the heat

Loved this hike!! Hidden gem out of the park that gives you a different view of the area. Highly recommend.

The trail is located on National Park land so I cannot imagine it would be closed.
Check alltrails app. They have elevation gain and how exactly long it is
