Super easy place to see and stretch your legs. If you do a little climbing, you can catch some amazing sights and views past the skull rock formation.

Loved Joshua Tree National Park. The rangers are super friendly and full of information. The park is very accessible, allowing some key features, such as this one, to be visible with just just a short walk. That being said, it is worth getting out of the car and walking around to explore. (All these pictures were from a 30 minute walk around Skull Rock.) Just be sure to take water and find your way back. It is also great people watching with visitors from around the world.

Rock with a curious shape, which resembles a skull (hence its name) very close to the rocky complex of Jumbo Rocks, which can be accessed by a relatively short route.
