Love this kids Museum. ❤️ especially all the interactive science exhibits. Oh wait it's all science. I guess we love it all.

Took my 7 year old and he had a blast! All of their activities are interactive and fun for the little ones. With three different levels he enjoyed himself for hours. Would definitely recommend for a family trip!

There is a public parking lot next door to Moxi at the train station. All SB city psrking lots are first 75 minutes free, $1.50/hr after.
We have a 5,4, almost 2. They all LOVE it. Obviously have to keep a closer eye on our almost 2 year old. But we'll worth it.
Yes, Blippi visited MOXI earlier this year! You can watch the video on their Youtube page to see all the fun Blippi had at MOXI.
Hi Candi, There is a wheel chair available for use while in the museum to assist with mobility available on a first-come, first-served basis. You will need to leave a valid driver’s license at the front desk while using any of the accessibility resources. Please let our Guest Services team know at check in if you would like more info about the accessibility resources MOXI offers.
Hello Suzanne, we are temporarily closed due to COVID-19 and do not yet have a reopening date set. We will update here and on our website as soon as we do!

I believe you can rent it after-hours, as there have been wedding ceremonies and other events here. However, I believe that means renting the entire facility.
Hi Piper, no, we do not have a cafe or any food for sale within the museum. There is a designated snack area on the second floor where guests may enjoy small snacks. There are also a variety of family-friendly eateries in the neibhorhood surrounding MOXI and guests receive a hand stamp upon admission that allows for reentry on the same date. Let us know if we can help answer any other questions.
Hi Lola, If you're referring to the three colorful art pieces by the train tracks it is a pop-up installation of ‘Runaway’ by Molly Hunker and Greg Corso of SPORTS. For more information on the exhibit visit the Museum of Contemporary Art Santa Barbara's website!
It is fun! There is so much to do. Best part everything is hands on activities.
You can but it is not necessary. I would only recommend doing so if you plan on going on a holiday weekend.
There are special events/activities and open times for members.
MOXI is part of the ASTC Passport program! I believe you can get admission for two adults and two kids.
