This a beautiful place to visit, with scenic vistas and springs. There are paved trails around the springs, with some steep areas and level areas. It is a great spot for pictures, but there are always a lot of people on the weekends, and not a lot of parking. Only thing that would make it better is a ranger to make sure people keep their dogs on a leash and out of the water.

Awesome springs, travertine pools, paved walks and boardwalks. Very beautiful. Nice place for kids to run, but there is no picnicking or playing in the water for environmental reasons. When we were there September 2021 the drinking fountains and flush toilets or closed due to drought. There are pit toilets available. The trail to the right of the parking lot is much less steep than the one by the restroom.

This is such a gorgeous detour off the alpine loop. There are two parking areas with hiking trails that wind through the trees and take you to the natural springs. Great spots for photos all around. Absolutely beautiful at the end of September when the fall colors are in full bloom. Great spot to bring dogs & kids too, if that’s your thing 👍

Nice nature hike with paved paths, some shaded areas by trees, that curve along water ways and wooden bridges as you can view mini waterfalls and if lucky the wildlife of the area. A deer crossed our path. Places to sit if needed to rest.

We were able to go by 4 wheeler only due to construction and the automobile being closed. You can only get there by ATV but the trail and bathrooms are open. Office is closed. I am not sure when construction will be done
Yeah, and it's super easy. If you want to do all of the loops it gets a little cold in the fall, but it is so worth it as there can be a red tree in the middle of a lot of green trees. Totally worth it and the drive up and down is amazing!
From what I understand it's dusk. We were there this weekend after 5 and there were quite a few people there and more came as we were leaving
Whether you start from the top or bottom, you do have to walk a short distance on a trail to get to the springs.
You can actually get to it from the Alpine Loop now. We went two weeks ago.
As of July 19, 2020, it was accessible via Cummings Parkway, but all other routes were closed for construction. Note that Cummings Parkway is a rough dirt road--not recommended if you don't have a vehicle with high clearance (SUV, truck, dune buggy, etc.).
Yes, it is open but access is from Wasatch mountain state park. Lengthy drive from Midway is only current access. Dirt roads.
Cascade Springs is open, but you can only get there from Wasatch Mountain State Park, or the rather steep ATV trail that starts near Deer Creek dam. We were there Monday.
Yes, you can go up past Sundance & when you reach the top take the right fork down to Cascade Springs. You can't come over the hill from Heber anymore, but it appears they are redoing that road so you will be able to next year
If you go up through American Fork Canyon there is a $6 entrance fee (that gives you 3 days of entry to the canyon.)
Be aware that road to Cascade is closed if you come in from the Midway side. To road in from Provo puts you at the upper parking lot. Long way downhill to the springs. If you have some walking challenges it's a long way back uphill.
Yes it's open, you cannot access the parking lot below the springs but you can park at the parking lot above, you just walk down.
It's an easy paved trail. Good for kids and even strollers for much of it. Cascade Springs is a lovely place.
I was there yesterday. The road from the Alpine loop is open. The road from Midway is not open. You can get there from American Fork Canyon or going past Sundance.
No fees to drive the loop. Only if you stop somewhere
They do have spacious paths however there are areas that are pretty steep going up or down.
Yes. American fork canyon and Provo canyon are both paved and usually in good condition
The mountain is scheduled to open mid to late May. If we get more snow it won't be till later.
I believe that the road to get there is closed for the winter.
Restrooms, a gazebo at the entrance, some benches. It's really meant to be more of a walking and exploring area. And, correct, no picnics allowed.
I was there at the end of May and there was still plenty of water. It was not as high and rushing as much as it has been other years I've been there in the spring, but it's still beautiful and green.
I have Tmobile, and there was no signal at all
Yes, the trails are paved there. I was there Saturday and it was gorgeous. We saw a moose at the bottom, so be alert.
