No fees to drive the loop. Only if you stop somewhere

Warren Wood | Feb 7, 2020

The drive is part of the Mt. Timp Cave National Monument. There is a day use fee to go into the canyon from both sides of the drive.

Driving the Alpine Loop is free. Parking anywhere costs money. As mentioned you can by a day pass or an annual pass. The day pass used to be good for 3 days, but I don't know how long it's good anymore. If there is a ranger at the booth, just tell them which you're planning and they'll take care of you.

No fee. I've seen a guard shack, but never anyone there. If you stop your car at the Springs it will cost to park. Other than that no fees to go on Alpine loop.
