Fabulous resort! Everything I expect from Auberge- the customer service from every individual was professional and warm. Every meal was incredible! We stayed in the gorgeous Quail cabin- very modern and private! Tons of activities to do, highly recommend the horseback riding and ATV’s!

Not up to Auberge standards. Clumsy and noisy spa. Tennis facility is an embarrassment (one court 10-minutes from the lodge), no benches to sit on, no water, no scoring system, etc.). Pool is tiny with missing wood panels and water damage on the ceiling and damaged flooring around the pool area. Men's steam room didn't work, elevator didn't work. Indifferent service. I could go on and on...

Primland is a resort that showcases the splendor of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Nestled amongst the rolling hills of Meadows of Dan, Virginia, it has surely become one of the foremost private getaways in the US. This new Auberge Resort is an enchanted place of beauty and surprise, a horticultural masterpiece with one of the top rated golf courses.

Really impressed. The property is so remote you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere, in the best possible way. Everywhere you look are Instagram worthy vistas. The cottage suites are spacious, rustically beautiful and clean with big decks looking out over the mountains. We enjoyed a fabulous dinner at Elements. (Try the Arctic Char; you won't be disappointed.) And a great lunch at the Pub. Everywhere we went, the staff bent over backwards to make us happy. Also enjoyed a great massage at the spa, and a 2.5m hike on one of the trails. We will be back.

We are looking forward to joining you on Friday and have a few guestions. We are in a cabin and wonder if there is tea and coffee in the cabin. Also is the indoor pool heated. Can I hike with my dog and not worry about hunters? Thanks, Sally Zunino

I hope your dog doesn't smell the scent of a bobcat. If he does, and trails the cat , he may get the worst end of the chase!! I would keep my dog on a leash!
