Sorry to say, they don't answer phone messages or emails. I took my wife there to find out the status on her passport. We live 2 hours away by car. Your best bet, is to go there personally. They move like are working in the hot Jamaican sun!! 🙄

Appts ARE NOT required at the Consulate General of Jamaica. You can go in person to the building and inform the security guard that you do not have an appt and ask to be placed on the emergency list. Then you wait for your turn to be called upstairs.

Call them, and give the date when you went to the office to renew of your passport. I gave them my passport, and other documents, and they assured me they will send them back with the new passport in the mail. I paid for FedEx, so I will get my documents with a secure delivery.

The easiest way to set up an appointment with the Consulate of Jamaica is to go to the website.

They have a photo studio on the site and the photographer is very capable and very professional. But if you can take your own to expedite the process do so.
