This title company is a joke. Spent about 5 hours between the title facility and BMV - trying to get an out of state title transfer; arrived at the title facility once, was told to get a VIN inspection; went back over to the BMV and got that, explained my situation multiple times as well as provided my title twice. Once I returned the window personnel was rude and dismissive, the front door person offered to answer questions but was incredibly manipulative and told me to "stick with that" when answered. Then a manager came out who said I had told 2 employees information I did not. The first employee did not even ask me the question she claimed I answered. Be careful going to this facility - the staff is both rude and completely manipulative in their tactics to ensure you do not get the help you need. If there was an issue with my title I'm not sure why 2 separate employees did not recognize that before sending me on a wild goose chase.

Surprisingly efficient. I appreciated the ability to schedule an appointment. Dawn was very kind. Very clean and organized there as well.

You need to make an appointment by phone or on the website.
You don't go to the Auto Title office to do your ID/DL.....the Ohio BMV issues them.
No. You have to make an appointment online. Once you get there, there will be a receptionist that will help guide you after that
Yes appointment only
You can complete it all in one day. You need to get the VIN inspection done first at the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles, then head to the Auto Title office (which you must have a scheduled appointment for) to have your title converted from your current state title into an Ohio state title. Once you've completed the title conversion, head back to the BMV to get your license plates, tags, and registration. Also, each appointment is on a case by case account, so make sure you have the correct info for your specific appointment. Please remember to wear a mask before/upon entering the buildings as they are required. If you have any other questions, call the Franklin County Clerk of Courts Auto Title office or check the clerk's office county website.
They accept both, but there is a surcharge if you use a card.
You have to call and make a appointment
Simplest way is to get your title notarized beforehand. Then go to Franklin County Clerk Of courts website. Click on the menu, small box of 3 lines on the upper right side of your screen. Select auto title and schedule your appointment. Hope this helps.
Your id.And if title is assigned to you,it needs to be Notarized. If you are the one transferring to someone, you will need the name, address of the person you are transferring to.
Yes
Yes
Appointments are like 2 weeks out, you can always get temp tags until you get appoinyment, temp tags are 45 days.
You should only need your driver's license. The vehicle will be in their database.
Sometimes as early as 730.
You need to have the back of the title notorized. Make sure you and your mom sign the title in front of the notary or they won't notorize it. Then take the title in and they'll transfer it
You will need to take the vin# into the title office and ask to do a "Court Order Packet".
Is it an out of state title, or is it an Ohio title?
only record the notary commissions and will notarize titles
BMV does DL testing, Franklin County Auto Title does not.
Yes
They close at noon December 24
