Something must be done the guy named Mr brown who’s in charge of this facility is starving these youth their getting half portions of food keeping them in the cell 23hours a day or longer refusing them phone calls home other then the zoom meetings for no reason staff had quit because of this I want to spread awareness and I will be posting this wherever I can and speaking to whoever who can help this isn’t right I will expose everything I know

Per recent WBNS 10 TV news story, this detention facility willfully decided to refuse accepting 4 juveniles who were charged with felony counts of stealing cars in Whitehall and endangering the lives of the general public. Said juveniles who were rejected went to Village Network Reception Area and three juveniles escaped reception area and were later arrested by Columbus Police in another stolen vehicle. Shame on this organization for risking the general safety of the general public!

The food sucked. The staff let me sleep every day pretty much all day and night. Wasn't allowed to call most of my family. Some of the staff were disrespectful to trans youth, myself included. A couple of the staff were amazing tho and tried to help me the best they could.

You can't because they are a Juvenile. But you can call the detention center and they will let you know. I hope this helps!
I am a security guard there. I cannot answer what you can do. I would check with a clergy, therapist or social worker.

I'm not sure exactly with Covid but I do work in there from time to time and the staff in there is awesome. Give them a call and I sure they will answer all your questions.
