Normally I have nothing but rave reviews for John Boy's however yesterday I was sadly disappointed. We had to go to the valley and wanted to pick up some dinner from the hot deli case. I called ahead as it was going to be a large order and it was just before 5 I wanted to make sure everything would be hot and ready. I was amazed and disappointed when I was told that they turn off the fryer at 4pm, that there was nothing in the case and that they don't do dinner. When we lived in Alsea we were able to dinner from the deli case all the time.Too bad this is no longer true.

A great little store serving the local community of Alsea, seems like they have just about anything you'd need from a small business. My wife always has to stop by when we are in the area.

Great roadside store. It's got just about anything you could need last minute for a fishing trip or a road trip to the coast.
