Huge open area with plenty of cover for grouse and dove, even has a few ponds which can be fished from. Overall fairly clean, wasn't trashed to all heck with clay targets or shotshells like most of the SWAs I have visited

Nice open space, good nature viewing. Lake looks too shallow for fishing. Bring bug spray. Goat heads in parking lot. No facilities. Good for a short walk. Dogs must be leashed. Minimal to no signage.

Questions & Answers

I am searching for a lake where our dog club could have water work training. Would Cobb Lake SWA beavailable?

It's designated specifically for dog training, but I believe groups need special accommodations. I would call the CPW office.

Can you fish Cobb?

I believe you could, although its shallow, and all I've only seen turtles. I've never seen fish in it.
