My family and I have loved this place for years. We really enjoyed ordering from them for take out during the pandemic. After the height of the pandemic they redesigned their parking lot to be one of the best outdoor seating venues of any restaurant in town. I go for the food but often get ideas for my garden just looking around what they've done!

I paid $19 for Indian food that lacked seasoning. I ordered two items: garlic nan and chicken tikka masala. Nan lacked salt the the masala was a broth with six chicken chunks. I had to add my own seasonings to make it palatable. Better seasoned and quality food are available in the frozen food section at Safeway!

Not exactly sure how these reviews are so high but this place is really not good at all. The mango lassi was straight watered down mango pulp with sugar. The malai kofta was a generic tomato cream sauce and the kofta balls were very grainy and bland in flavor. The samosas were also generic and expensive for what it is. Overall terrible. I have yet to encounter a decent Indian restaurant in this area (Oakland/Alameda).

This is not my first time going and I have enjoyed everything I chose...or shared with my companions. I have to mention how their COVID accommodations are delightful. The parking lot is transformed into a shaded but open dining space complete with plants on the walls and two water fountains to aerate and mask the traffic sounds. Note: this does mean you need to find street parking.
