It's very cool.

This was an overpriced experience. The tour has a 15 minute video on the history of Mardi Gras and each guest is given a slice of king cake. Then you walk through the warehouse to view the artisan work areas and old props.

It was so cool. Lots of history and awesome work

The museum and staff inside were wonderful since we are traveling with a service dog. They called their free shuttle for us and our experience went down hill from there. He immediately said no dogs and when we said it was a service dog we were asked for papers, even though he is labeled service dog and told shuttle was private property he didn't have to transport us. My husband reminded him as a service dog he is protected under federal law. The driver did eventually take us to first stop and on way said he was allergic to dogs. We said if you are allergic you can pull over and we will walk as we want to be respectful to you. He continued to first stop complaining and going faster than he should.

Call them
Parking near the Mardi gras world is not free. It's owned by a convention center nearby. The parking fee without re-entry is $15 and with multiple entries upto 24hrs is $30. You could park little far away on the roadside for lesser fee. It would be about 10 min walk
It is 65 years old and above. Children are 2-11 years old. Price; Seniors are $15.95, adults $19.95 and children $12.95. If it is a group of 10 or more then price per ticket drops. Seniors$13.95, adults $17.95 and children $10.00. Enjoy it! It's is a great experience.. plus you get a free piece of Kings cake with the one hour tour.
Yes they have several wearhouse's. The one on the other side of the river is the one that was used before Katrina. But you can only visit the one.
I don't think so. There are no schedule tours. You can come and go as you please.
Yes. You enter through the gift shop.
Self guided only.
I don't know what that is but so far anything cancelled for caution reasons has been posted on Social Media. Team Gleason's event has been postponed & tonight's YLC Concert has been as well.
Hi Mitizi! You can call us for a pickup in the French Quarter. We have a shuttle that is complimentary for tour guests!
Adults $22 Seniors 65+ $17 Students with college ID $17 Children 2-11 $14
It's less than a 20 minute walk from the Riverwalk! But we suggest walking across the street to Harrah's and giving our shuttle a call for FREE pick up! The phone number is: 504-361-7821
Various painting techniques were being used on our visit. Spray and brush, and in a booth.
It's closed during Mardi gras day because of the float distribution.
Yes Im More Than Sure That's Possible, Call The Gift Shop, Operator, Or Leave An Email via The Mardi Gras World website.
Definitely, they will enjoy seeing the masks. Also, they can eat a king cake!!
The website shows the various locations where the shuttle can pick you up, all you need to do is call Mardi Gras World & let them know which stop you'll be waiting at, & they'll send out the shuttle. We waited at the Ritz Carlton a few weeks ago & it took the shuttle less than 10 minutes.
You can pay onsite.
I agree with Jorge, two hours should be sufficient. Go earlier in the day so you don't feel rushed.
