It was very nice visiting the home of one of my favorite poets. There isn’t a whole lot to see inside, but there are assorted pictures on the walls and newspaper clippings. They have a few books for purchase, and something that tells you he wrote “Stopping By Woods on a Snowy Evening” after taking a walk in the woods behind this home. There’s a poet trail out back and we followed it. At various points you see another line of the poem with a watercolor picture done by an artist. We really enjoyed it. There’s also a metal statue of him outside near some trees, so don’t miss that. The person sitting inside barely looked up from her computer, so she was no help at all. That’s partly why I gave it 4/5 stars.

There are a two things to keep in mind when you visit the Robert Frost Stone House: 1) You'll get a very short self guided tour of the FIRST floor of the home. As a consequence of code enforcement issues, you cannot access the second floor. This "museum" might not be the kind of place your young kiddo gets a lot out of. 2) Visiting this home gives a view into one of North America's most prolific poets and is peaceful beyond measure. If these things seem like your cup of tea, stop by.

Unless your a huge Frost fan there isnt much here for you, 10 bucks to see 2 rooms and a couch and read a bunch of facts tacked to the wall, nothing here you cant find out by using google, we were very disappointed. Also you needlessly have to wear a mask when inside even if your the only one there.
