We held a baby shower at Wing Haven back in the spring. I'm late writing our review, but I just wanted to say what a lovely experience it was!! All of the staff were amazing in helping us plan from out of state! They gave us a tour the day prior to the baby shower because that was the day we were coming into town. The venue was perfect for an intimate baby shower worh family and friends! The gardens were lovely and we could not have asked for a better experience!

I took my 6 month old cousin here and she loved it! They have so many beautiful flowers and multiple different trails/paths to follow. It feels just like a magical fairy garden! The staff was so kind and very informative. I wish I had been here as a kid because I would have been obsessed with it. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone!

It's a pleasure to walk through someone's vision and enjoy the beauty they created.

Hi Jim! Thanks for asking. Wing Haven is made of up three gardens. Two of the gardens are historic (Wing Haven Garden & Bird Sanctuary at 248 Ridgewood Ave and the Elizabeth Lawrence House & Garden at 348 Ridgewood Ave) and were each designed by their original owners. Our gardeners care for these gardens with the intent on keeping true to the owners' designs and wishes. Reavis Thornton is the Head Gardener of Wing Haven Garden & Bird Sanctuary and works with his team of gardeners and volunteers to maintain it. Andrea Sprott is the Garden Curator of the Elizabeth Lawrence House & Garden, and she also has a team of volunteers who help her. Our newest garden, the SEED Wildlife & Children's Gardens is all native plantings and is cared for by a group of weekly volunteers. I hope this answers your question. Thanks!
Hi Peter! Thank you for reaching out. Service animals are allowed, but otherwise since our gardens are historic, we cannot accommodate pets in the gardens.
Hi Carol! Our Kokedama workshop was held in Oct. 2019 during our symposium that year. Our next symposium is this fall in early November and will have more fun workshops in a variety of topics. Stay tuned for more details to come!

Do you mean formal pictures? I think you can take regular photos any time?
I do believe so. But I would call and ask to make sure.
