after talking about me case with dcss I'm convinced that suicide is the only solution. I was told that any payments they collect from me by garnishment or other means don't pay to my principal. any payments I make willingly only go to pay down interest not principal. my kids are grown and have their own jobs but I still am expected to pay the state over 500 a month. even thou my ex collected welfare under fraud I am expected to support my kids that live with me also pay child support and pay back the money they collected under fraud. I could work a full time job give them all the money and in ten years still not have paid it off. I can't keep a job because of the garnishments I can't own anything ever have a bank account or vehicle or even a driver's licence because they will take it I am disabled and can't work and have been denied my social security benefits twice.

The front desk told me several times I had all of the right paperwork Filled out paid just for everything to be sent back Had to go through the same process at least 4 times Had to go back to a notary 2 times they do not try to help. They just want you to hurry up and leave.

If I could give zero stars I would. This agency is super unconventional, and extremely incompetent. It is hard to talk to ANYONE or tell anyone anything as it pertains to your case, they will try to collect child support on any person you list, even if they are not the father or Willing to take a paternity test, they'll just assume custody. They are terrible at getting back to clients or keeping you informed, I just had to message someone who is on my case myself after they said they would keep me updated and get back to me as soon as they heard something from my attorney. 6-7 days later and I still heard nothing, I had to email them myself and they gave me a very rude and short answered response. Didn't answer my question at all. If you are going through them alone please try to find good representation and an advocate who will stand up for you and speak for you because these people love to push you around and do whatever it is that they want to do. I've even tried to speak to someone about some personal stuff as it pertains to the search in my case and they told me "for one we don't handle anything other than child support so you're venting to the wrong person". How rude and discouraging. Someone needs to really step in and make sure they're overseeing the staff here and what they're doing everyday.

You would need to start a court case. Seek help at the family law center
For various reasons: So the person can work and pay child support, or they negotiated a payment for the release, just got out of jail/prison or are receiving public assistance. Again, the goal is to give the person a chance to get on their feet in order to collect money owed to the family. Hope this helps.
Please call 866-901-3212 or use self service website www.childsupport.ca.gov
Dna testing is done at the child support office if you have an open case
Because the court has set an order for you to provide medical for the child. You need to review your court oder and see if dad is ordered to pay medical. It is the law to provide medical for our kids. If it's too expensive through the employer you might want to seek cheaper health care programs.

That is a custody issue handled by the family law facility. Unfortunately the child support office would not be able to help. Try the self help center in room 113 at the family law courthouse
I'm sure there is.
Depends on the age of the child and how you were served. Call 866-901-3212 and they can answer your questions.
We have Spanish speaking employees as well as access to translators for quite a few other languages.
Yes. You can call in to office and request a notarized lien release. The process is much faster if you go into the office.
Yes and no. There is a drop box, however it is located in the lobby. So, it can only be accessed during business hours 8-5 Monday through Friday.
You may contact customer service at (866) 901-3212 and request a copy be emailed, mailed or faxed to you. You may also obtain a copy from the court house in the County the order was obtained.
Speak to a worker on how to get your license back. If you are now current in your child support, you should not have any problems.
You need to file a motion for custody and visitation with the family law courts. There is a self help service center and you can get more info and forms online. Custody and visitation is not facilitated in the child support office. https://www.saccourt.ca.gov
He does not speak Spanish. English please

Yes he can. Ask for addendum
Custody and child support are two different things. If Orange county has jurisdiction of the order, then you either have to file in that court or request that Sacramento courts take over jurisdiction. If the other parent works in Sacramento and you are wondering if you can serve a wage garnishment on that employer, yes. They are in the same state.
You can ask your local child support office to do a review, or you can go to the court house yourself and request a modification hearing.
Yes. The missed month becomes arrears and gets charged interest. If this were to happen, and the custodial party knows where the non-custodial parent is working, the custodial part can help speed up the process by calling their local office and reporting who the new employer is.
You should call and talk to someone regarding your case. They will tell you how much your monthly payments will be and they will take the payments out of your check each month. Good luck.
Depends on how much you owe in child support. The state can do a restricted license for you to only drive to work and home.
If you are paying more than you think you should go to the Child Support Office and they will tell you the reason why you are paying the amount in child support. In my case the father was always behind in his payments and he is currently paying the rears amount. Hope this helps.
If the said courthouse insist on their automated systems only, and you would rather do w/o, then, in my opinion, transfer your monies to a separate card to show a $0 balance. They cant take any from pennies. Next, "I" would begin making payments w/ money orders, checks, however you choose. Just remember to make a reminder to reimburse, because they will get their money one way or another. Atleast this way you'll have a little control w a piece of mind.
