I’ve had nothing but bad experiences here, and the staff is rude. However that’s not what I’m here about. I was driving past bmc the other day on Wahconah St and saw a rat the size of splinter come running from your building- the thing stopped did a u-turn in the middle of the street and went back. You guys need to clean better or something. Foul.

Berkshire medical center does not allow, once known, or even suspected, abuse to be reported. Stay clear of that hospital if you value your life and mental health. They do not take seriously being the advocates or mandated reporters. If anything, they make conducive an environment or culture of assaults the moment they fail to stop abuse and allow it to progress. This culture within the health care system of the Berkshire medical center campus continues to be fostered by mostly the well intended. Misguided loyalty. The worst is when the abuse and assault is being erased as you are being assaulted. The assault doesn’t end there, because the most painful part, after you hope the incident(s) are over, is when you are harmed later and if needed, erased or altered in part or in entirety. This kind of assault alters and charges the reality of happenings by the actual altering of facts and events both during and after incident; therefore, erasing the accuracy of perception that we all have to rely on to navigate reality and sanity. After all, it is our perception, mostly collective or integrative at this point, that becomes the working realty for the day to day operation of engaging and interacting. This has to stop. It is an assault on perception. An assault on our reality. And an assault on human decency. Reality is eroding under this assault. A reality none of us will be able to or want to rely on. Stop.

Can not be trusted. Do not get any services here without triple checking with your insurance company. I was told that since I was an employee with a specific plan that physical therapy was covered, but then received a $350 bill for an hour of PT. I've contacted multiple people who all say there's nothing they can do. They don't listen or care about their own employees, so how do you think they'll treat everyone else?

At the main hospital in the radiology department

While in hospital 7 weeks ago a girl had me fill out an application that would help me get some help with housing potentially. Does anyone know which department I should be trying to get ahold of. Bc haven't received a call from them yet.

Dear Adam, please call 413-447-2000 and ask to be connected to the Patient Experience department.

Is there a service to get people (non life threatening) to the hospital not using an expensive ambulance that they can't afford? I am in GB and do not have a car today.

We do offer vouchers for taxi cabs and collaborate with the local cabulance companies. Please call our Patient Experience Office at 413-447-2466 for more information.
