Nice quiet park. We had a double site which was right near the day use area, so easy beach access. Nice trails throughout. Will definitely be back. I love these locations that aren't horribly far from home

Beautiful park with great trails. We saw 2 whales in the distance. The dogs loved it.

This was a historical location for the defense of the state that now offers a nice walk when the weather cooperates. According to the signage sea lions frequent the area, but I was unable to spot one on my walk around the trails. There is a large brick structure located fairly close to the parking area that can be reserved for gatherings and seemed like an interesting location for a special event.

Yes to showers, but they require tokens.. a bit annoying. Dogs are allowed, but must be on a leash.
the "Camp Host," on the right after the security shack has stacks of firewood for sale.
Right now the beach is closed to shellfishing. The state parks website should have this information for you.
