Field hasn't ever been nice. Have some real great memories here though. Upset that they removed the backstop.

A park that is "work in progress". I took my 3yr old grandson there today to just walk around the "beach" area. To make the place visitor friendly, all the washed up tree trunks should be removed to provide dry access to the "beach" area so that walking paths can be created. On the other side of the road is the other part of the park which has ample parking and access to a developed hiking trail which we did not explore. Next time.

Can be a bit smelly during low tide but a nice spot to launch a kayak during higher tides.

This park is excellent for picnicking, trail walking, dogs, BBQs, and baseball or other field activities. The county, along with volunteer groups, has recently done a great job improving the park. Highly recommended
